On Saturday 8th March 2008, Lambeth Trades Council put on a successful performance by Banner Theatre in the Purcell Room at the Southbank Centre

Lambeth TUC is currently doing all we can to support Remploy workers - disabled workers whose factories are being shut down.

Lambeth Trades Union Council represents local branches of trade unions whose members work or live within the boundaries of the London Borough of Lambeth. Although part of the official structure of the Trades Union Congress, the Trades Council is not a Branch of the TUC, but an independent body whose policies are formulated by affiliated branches. Join us in the call - for jobs - pensions to allow dignity in old age - free secular education - decent housing for all - reliable supplies of water - safe public transport - defence of the NHS and Welfare state!Lambeth TUC is the link between the Trade Unions, Labour Movement and the community - working together on common causes.Lambeth TUC meetings are every last Monday of the month at 7 pm. We meet at Stockwell Community Resource Centre, Studley Street SW9. All are welcome to attend our meetings.Lambeth TUC supports anti-racist anti-fascist work.Lambeth TUC supports full equality & liberation for women, Black & Minority Ethnic, Disabled, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people.Lambeth TUC says no to war and Defend Council Housing in Lambeth. We are affiliated to Lambeth Defend Council Housing and Lambeth Stop the War Coalition.
